Are you ready to sing "The Solar System Song" with Ms. Chandra to learn some fun things about our Sun and the planets? 

 

Observe the size and colors of the planets as you enjoy the song video below. Now you will be inspired to make astronomical art with salt and food coloring! Notice how Ms. Chandra's examples of Earth and Venus are similar in size in the graphic above, but the Earth is a bit bigger. Use the image of our Solar System below to inspire your salt planets! If you're feeling especially creative, you can even imagine and design your own planets.
